Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi is inviting quotations for the supply and installation of carpet tiles at its City Campus location in Karachi, Sindh. The project involves providing and fixing 1,553 square feet of carpet tiles meeting specific approved shades and specifications. The required carpet tiles must be of brand Venus/Pak Carpets or equivalent quality, featuring 100% Nylon pile fiber with a pile height of 5mm, PVC secondary backing, and dimensions of 50cm by 50cm, inclusive of professional installation services. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ-003774) with a total scope covering carpet tile provision and complete installation work at IBA Main Campus.
Prospective bidders are required to conduct a mandatory site visit on 3 June 2026 at 3:30 PM at IBA City Campus (Extensions 1507 and 1502) before submitting their quotations. Submission of approved samples is mandatory for quality approval, and the entire order remains subject to sample approval by IBA. Quotations must be submitted by 5 June 2026 at 5:00 PM to the Purchase Department. Payment will be made through crossed cheque following receipt of invoice and delivery of items. IBA reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation without assigning reasons, to cancel orders if materials do not meet specifications or delivery is delayed, and to issue purchase orders to the lowest responsive bidder.
General Sales Tax applies to applicable items only, with additional government taxes, levies and charges levied as per applicable SRO rates. A liquidity damage penalty of 2% per month will be imposed on delayed deliveries. Stamp duty of 0.35% for goods against the total purchase order value will be levied accordingly.
