National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC) invites bids for construction and completion of civil works, erection, stringing, testing and commissioning of a 220kV double circuit transmission line. The project involves looping in and out of both circuits of the 220kV Chashma-Ludewala transmission line at the 220kV Jauharabad Grid Station, located approximately 3.5 kilometres from Jauharabad in Punjab. This tender is issued under NGC's own resources and represents a significant infrastructure development for power transmission capacity in the region. Amendment No. 2 to the bidding documents has extended the bid submission deadline to 15 June 2026 at 11:00 am, replacing the original deadline of 03 June 2026. All other terms and conditions of the original tender notice remain unchanged.
Prospective bidders must meet NGC's eligibility criteria and comply with all mandatory requirements specified in the bidding documents. Bidders are required to possess relevant technical qualifications, experience in transmission line construction projects, and appropriate engineering licenses as stipulated by NGC. Bid security and other financial requirements must be submitted in accordance with the tender specifications. Only qualified contractors with proven track record in high-voltage transmission infrastructure development will be considered for award.
Interested parties may obtain the complete bidding documents from NGC through the designated procurement office. Sealed bids must be submitted on or before 15 June 2026 at 11:00 am at the specified submission location. Bid opening will take place as per the schedule announced in the tender documents.
