Description / Scope of Work
Central Power Generation Company Limited (CPGCL), Guddu, Sindh, invites sealed bids for the provision of internal audit services for the financial year 2025-26. The scope encompasses conducting internal audits for the client organization with a focus on financial controls, compliance, and operational efficiency. This is a single-stage two-envelope bidding process under PPRA Rules 36(b), and interested firms are required to submit their proposals in accordance with the outlined tender specifications and evaluation criteria. The tender reference is CEO/CPGCL/CFO/Audit 2025-26/RFP-09.
Eligibility is restricted to "A" ranked chartered accountant firms approved by the relevant corporate body with the most recent satisfactory QCR rating from ICAP, and registered firms with FBR and provincial tax authorities possessing credible track record and experience in internal audit services. Participating firms must demonstrate their qualifications and relevant experience through their bids. A bid security of PKR 50,000 in the form of call deposit or bank guarantee (refundable) drawn in favor of Central Power Generation Company Limited is mandatory for all bidders to accompany their proposals.
Tender documents are available free of cost and can be downloaded from the PPRA website at www.ppra.org.pk. The last date for issuing tender documents is 20 June 2026 at 14:00 hours. Sealed bids must be received by 20 June 2026 at 14:30 hours, with opening to follow immediately thereafter. In case of a government-announced public holiday or unforeseen circumstances, the tender will be rescheduled to the next working day. The Chief Executive Officer of Genco-II, Guddu, reserves the right to reject any or all bids at any stage prior to acceptance under PPRA rule 33(1).
