Description / Scope of Work
HAZECO (Hazara Electric Supply Company) invites sealed electronic bids through the E-PADS Acquisition and Disposal System on a National Competitive Bidding (NCB) basis from registered tax companies and firms for the disposal of one 66kV Redundant EBCV Transmission Line from Haveilan to Abbottabad under the jurisdiction of SSAT Division Abbottabad in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The transmission line comprises 45 numbers of steel lattice towers of various types, including four 04 number 23M-36 type towers, 07 number SPD type tubular poles, 02 number landslide RD towers, and associated equipment such as conductors, insulators, disc insulators, insulators chains and other materials with a total weight of 322 tons and anchorage specifications as detailed in the tender documents. The bid security is fixed at Rs 854,286 and bidders must be registered tax companies or individual firms in good standing.
Only registered entities are eligible to participate in the competitive bidding process, and all bids must be accompanied by bid security or earnest money in an acceptable form as specified in the bidding documents. The original bid security under sealed envelope must be submitted to the Manager (Supply Chain Management) at HAZECO HQ, College Road, Abbottabad before the bid submission deadline. Bids are valid for a period of 90 days and must be submitted for the full quantity of tender items without any GST adjustments. Bidders are permitted to visit the site locations on working days between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to inspect the transmission line materials and other assets available for disposal.
Bid documents are available through the E-PADS portal at http://www.epads.gov.pk and all submissions must be made electronically through the same portal. The bid opening will take place on 22 June 2026 between 12:50 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the office of the Manager Supply Chain Management in Abbottabad. The disposal will be governed under WAPDA Disposal Procedure and PPRA Disposal Rules, with all procurement regulatory authority rules and regulations applicable as amended to date.
