The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) invites sealed bids through the Sindh E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) for the supply of critical fire safety equipment to support Karachi Fire Brigade operations. Two tender packages are offered on an offer rate basis: Supply of Anti Smoke Goggles for Karachi Fire Brigade estimated at 19.600 million rupees, and Supply of Various Fire Brigade Equipments for Karachi Fire Brigade estimated at 19.000 million rupees. Both tenders are open to reputable firms with relevant experience in similar supplies and proper registration with applicable authorities. This procurement serves the operational readiness of emergency response services across Karachi, Sindh.
Eligibility criteria and specific requirements are detailed in the bidding documents available through the EPADS portal. Bid Security must be in the form of a pay order or bank guarantee issued by a scheduled bank operating in Pakistan in favor of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, valid for at least six months, equivalent to five percent of the estimated cost. Bidding Document Fee is non-refundable at rupees five thousand per tender. Only substantially responsive bids meeting all prescribed conditions will be considered for financial evaluation, with disqualified or non-responsive bids rejected upon approval of the Competent Authority, KMC.
Interested bidders must download bidding documents from the EPADS portal at https://sindh.eprocure.gov.pk. Completed bidding documents must be submitted through EPADS on or before 03:00 p.m. on 22 June 2026, with opening scheduled for the same day at 03:30 p.m. In addition to online submission, original Bidding Document Fee of rupees five thousand per tender must be submitted as a pay order in favor of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation to the undersigned office by the submission deadline. If no bids are received or all bids are declared non-responsive, re-opening will occur on 07 July 2026 at 03:30 p.m. Hard copies of bidding proposal documents in sealed envelopes must also be submitted at bid opening to verify online submission authenticity.
