Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Masstransit Authority invites prequalification applications from experienced Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to participate in the procurement and supply of pure electric urbanity buses of twelve (12) meters, along with associated slow and fast chargers, spare parts, tools and diagnostic equipment, all with warranty as per the prequalification document. This international competitive bidding initiative is targeted at the induction of eco-friendly buses in the Lahore Division, Punjab, and aims to enhance sustainable public transport infrastructure in the region. Successful applicants upon project award will be required to fulfill obligations related to service performance, including maintenance supervision, driver and maintenance training programs, vehicle homologation including all support services, registration, licensing and related services for each bus as further detailed in the prequalification document.
Interested firms and manufacturers are required to submit their prequalification applications electronically on the PPRA Portal via the Tender Evaluation & Dispute System (EPADS) web link at https://punjab.eprcocure.gov.pk on or before 18th July, 2025 at 1100 hours PST, which will be opened on the same day at 1130 hours PST. In case of any official holiday on the closing date, the next business day will be treated as the closing date. The procuring agency shall not accept any prequalification applications received after the submission deadline, and all prequalification documents shall be deemed disqualified upon receipt.
The prequalification document can be downloaded from the PPRA website (https://ppra.punjab.gov.pk) and the EPADS portal (https://punjab.eprcocure.gov.pk). Only prequalified firms and manufacturers shall be invited for submission of technical and financial bids in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 as amended from time to time. Applicants are advised to read all terms and conditions and applications at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid or application shall be disqualified as per the right of Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 as amended from time to time.
