Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited (PIACL) invites sealed bids from renowned vendors for air transportation of aircraft tools from Karachi to Dubai, United Arab Emirates on a port to port basis. This tender, referenced as DGM(S/D)/AC TOOL/KHI/DXB/26, is issued by the Shipping and Disposal Section of the Supply Chain Management Department at PIACL Head Office in Karachi, Sindh Province. The procurement follows a single stage single envelope bidding process and encompasses logistics services for aircraft maintenance tools transportation to support PIA operations in the UAE region.
Eligibility requirements specify that bids must be submitted by vendors meeting criteria outlined in the tender documents. Local bidders are required to submit a tender fee of PKR 15,000 in the form of a pay order from any scheduled bank. Earnest money of 2.5 percent of the total bid amount must be deposited as bid security, payable at Karachi in the name of Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited. Bid security in any other form shall not be accepted, and all tenders without proper earnest money deposit shall be rejected. Foreign bidders must strictly mention the tender reference number, date of opening, and item description on their courier envelope.
