Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi invites quotations for the supply of imported Snout chairs for the library at its main campus located on University Road, Karachi, Sindh. This procurement notice (RFQ-003785) seeks quotations for a total of 34 chairs comprising 26 units in Grass Green and 8 units in Grey. Each chair must feature a white plastic frame, molded foam seat, metal legs with wheels, and be supplied with a three-year warranty. The chairs must be BIFMA certified and either Sitzone brand or equivalent, with samples required for approval prior to final delivery. The estimated procurement value and delivery location are Stores, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi.
Bidders must ensure that quoted materials comply with all specified technical requirements and quality standards. Advance payment is subject to bank guarantee as per IBA's procurement policy. All government taxes including income tax, stamp duty (0.35% on goods), and General Sales Tax will be charged at actual rates as per applicable SRO. Liquidity damage at 2% per month will be imposed on delayed deliveries. The rate quoted is final and no changes will be accepted. IBA reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation and to issue purchase orders to different bidders or modify quantities without assigning reasons.
Quotations must be submitted to the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi by 12 June 2026 at 4:00 PM. Interested suppliers should contact the Purchase Department at telephone 021-38104700, extension 2156 for further details. Invoice and bills must be submitted to the Purchase Department, and payment will be made by crossed cheque upon receipt of invoice and delivery of items. Material is subject to final inspection at the time of delivery, and IBA reserves the right to cancel orders if materials do not conform to specifications or if delivery is delayed.
