Heavy Industries Taxila invites sealed tenders from reputed firms possessing National Tax Number (NTN) certificates for the refurbishment and upgrading of a chrome plating plant. The tender is issued under Tender Reference 5126/RT-6701/GF/FOR (A)/2026-27/SCM dated 5 June 2026 by the Supply Chain Management Directorate at HIT Taxila in Punjab. The scope of work includes comprehensive refurbishment and upgrading of the chrome plating plant facility with delivery required within one month of contract signing. The procurement will be executed in accordance with PPRA (Public Procurement Regulatory Authority) and MoDP (Ministry of Defence Production) rules, following a single-stage two-envelope bidding process on a FOR (Free on Rail) basis.
Prospective bidders must possess valid NTN certificates and provide photocopy of HIT registration, pre-qualification, or indexation letters. Eligible firms should submit attested copies of sales tax and NTN registration certificates, audit reports for the last three financial years, bank statements for one year, attested CNIC of CEO/Director, and evidence of relevant government contract experience. Bidders must furnish a judicial certificate on 100 rupee stamp paper, duly attested by an oath commissioner, declaring that the firm is neither a defaulter nor blacklisted by any government organization. A bid security/earnest money postal order of Rs. 2,000 must accompany the technical bid payable to the Director, Supply Chain Management Directorate, HIT Taxila.

Sealed bids must be submitted by 29 June 2026 at 1030 hours to the Supply Chain Management Directorate, HIT Taxila Cantt, with public opening scheduled for the same date at 1100 hours.
