Description / Scope of Work
The Balochistan Water Resources Development Sector Project (BWRDSP), financed by the Asian Development Bank, invites bids for the construction and completion of Command Area Development Works at Siri Tal Dam in the Zhob River Basin, Balochistan. This National Competitive Bidding contract (NCB-CAD-01) encompasses a 24-month construction period with major components including land development over 5,000 acres with earthwork of 2.3 million cubic meters, construction of open channel concrete lined water courses totaling 30,500 meters, installation of high-density polyethylene pipe systems spanning 76,700 meters with varying diameters, and development of a high-efficiency irrigation system covering 3,000 acres. The total estimated project value and scope details are fully specified in the bidding documents, with work location in the Zhob River Basin area of Balochistan province.
Only eligible bidders meeting specific qualification criteria may participate, including a requirement of at least one successfully completed contract within the last ten years with similar scope and value exceeding PKR 2,600 million or equivalent USD amount. Bidders must demonstrate a minimum average annual construction turnover of PKR 2,580 million or equivalent USD over the last three years. A bid security as described in the bidding document is mandatory. National competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage, Two-Envelope procedure, and the bidding document contains all detailed qualification criteria that prospective bidders must satisfy.

Bids must be submitted to the address above on or before 1200 hours (Pakistan Standard Time) on 22 July 2026, together with bid security as specified. Bid opening will occur immediately after the submission deadline in the presence of attending bidders' representatives. The Deputy Project Director will bear no responsibility for any costs incurred by bidders in bid preparation or delivery.
