Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Railways, through its Procurement Directorate based in Islamabad, invites worldwide bids from OEM-renowned manufacturers for the supply, installation and commissioning of a CNC Gantry Milling Machine. This tender is issued under reference DP/CGMM-A/2026 and follows the Two Stage-Two Envelope bidding procedure as per Rule 36(d) of PPRA Rules 2004. The procurement is for the Carriage Factory located in Sector I-11, Islamabad, and represents a significant capital investment in railway manufacturing infrastructure. Bidders are required to be OEM-renowned manufacturers with established credentials in supplying similar equipment.
Eligibility criteria require that bids be submitted only through the E-Pik Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) portal. Bid security must be submitted before closing of tender physically in the tender box at the office of the Director Procurement, Pakistan Railways, Carriage Factory, Islamabad. Pre-bid conference will be held on 01.07.2026 at 10:00 hrs at the Director Procurement's office. Bidding documents are available for free download from the PPRA website at https://ppra.org.pk. All bids must be prepared in accordance with instructions provided in the bidding documents and uploaded to EPADS as per the specified schedule.
Tender closing date and time is 21.07.2026 at 11:00 hrs, with tender opening scheduled for the same date at 11:30 hrs.
