Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi invites sealed bids from active taxpayers and registered manufacturers, firms, companies, distributors, and suppliers for the provision and supply of auditorium chairs. This tender, referenced as FF/02/25-26, is issued under single stage one envelope procedure with a bid security requirement of 2 percent. The procurement is for IBA's main campus located in the Karachi University Enclave, Sindh province. Eligible bidders must be registered with relevant tax authorities and maintain active taxpayer status. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for June 18, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the IBA Main Campus to allow prospective suppliers to inspect the location and understand project requirements.
Bid security must be submitted in the form of a Pay Order or Demand Draft made payable to 'IBA Karachi' and should constitute 2 percent of the estimated tender value. Only registered manufacturers and suppliers with valid tax documentation will be considered eligible for participation. The tender fee is fixed at Rs. 5,000, which must be paid by generating a challan from the IBA website and depositing it at any branch of Meezan Bank Ltd. IBA Karachi reserves the right to reject any bid or cancel the bidding process in accordance with SPP Rules 2010.
Tender documents are available for download from both the IBA website and the SPPRA EPADS portal. Bids, along with supporting documents and a copy of bid security, must be submitted through the SPPRA EPADS portal at https://portalsindh.eprocure.gov.pk/. The original bid security and original bid document, duly signed and stamped, must be physically delivered to IBA Main Campus, Karachi University Enclave, Karachi-75270 before the bid opening on June 26, 2026, at 3:30 PM.
