Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) invites electronic bids for the sale of old, unserviceable power transformers on an as-is-where-is basis through a single stage single envelope procedure under national competitive bidding. The tender is open to tax payer registered firms holding valid CNIC, NTN registration, and STRN (if available). The unserviceable material is located at SEPCO Warehouse near the 132kV Grid Station on Arain Road in Sukkur, Sindh, and interested bidders may inspect the items on any working day from 21 April 2026 to 7 May 2026 during office hours. The bid will be opened on 30 June 2026 through E-PADS PPRA in the presence of bidder representatives at the office of the Chief Engineer (Development) at PMU SEPCO.
Eligibility requires bidders to be registered on the E-PADS platform and to provide bid security or earnest money from a scheduled bank of Pakistan in the form of a cash deposit receipt, bank guarantee, or pay order valid for 120 days from the tender opening date. The security must be submitted in the name of the Chief Engineer (Development), PMU SEPCO Sukkur in an envelope clearly marked with the tender number and title before the E-bid submission deadline. Bidders must provide an undertaking on non-judicial stamp paper worth Rs. 100 to certify they are not blacklisted, debarred, or defaulted in WAPDA, NTDC, or DISCOs. Firms must quote rates for the complete tender on a tender-wise basis; incomplete bids will be rejected. The e-bid validity period is 90 calendar days from the date of bid opening.
Bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, technical specifications, and evaluation criteria are available on the E-PADS platform at the PPRA website. Interested bidders must register on E-PADS and submit all documents electronically through the system. For registration, training, or information related to E-PADS, bidders should contact PPRA at 1st Floor FBC Building, Sector G-5/2 Islamabad. Bids submitted through any means other than E-PADS will be treated as non-responsive and rejected. Tender opening will occur at the office of the Chief Engineer (Development), PMU SEPCO, Room 201, 2nd Floor, Al Sehra Building, Minara Road near Session Court Sukkur.
