Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Committee Jahanian invites sealed bids for the rehabilitation of Zubaida Ladies & Children Park in Jahanian, Punjab. The approved project cost is Rs. 34,93,000 for the financial year 2025-26. The scope of work includes excavation to a depth of 0.30 meters with removal of all foreign bodies over 50 mm diameter, refilling with a mix of earth and manure in a 3:1 ratio, and grading the surface to finish levels as indicated on grading plans. All finished areas shall slope to drain properly, with smooth and continual grades between existing controls such as walks, curbs, catch basins, and building elevations. The contractor must roll, scarify, rake and level the ground to obtain true, even grassing surfaces meeting the approval of the Project Engineer before grass installation. The work covers 37,200 square feet and includes grassing with plugging of specified grass species, comprehensive watering, and maintenance of the lawn until the grass forms a thick carpet free of weeds and suitable for mowing, with mandatory ongoing maintenance included in the scope.
Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of Rs. 175,000. Contractors must possess valid Professional Engineers Registration (PEC) certification. The time limit for completion shall be as specified in the work order to be issued. Eligibility requirements and detailed bid security terms are outlined in the bidding document.
