Description / Scope of Work
Gujrat Canal Division invites sealed bids for the rehabilitation of its Office Complex and Residential Quarters in Gujrat, Punjab, which sustained damage during the 2025 Urban Flood. The scope of work encompasses construction of an office building with comprehensive ground and second floor works including excavation, foundation work, brick masonry, reinforced cement concrete structural members, plumbing and sanitation installations, interior finishes, doors and windows, flooring with porcelain tiles and marble, roof works, and related civil and finishing items. Additional work includes residential quarters construction with similar specifications. The estimated value and quantity of materials are detailed in the bid documents with rate-based pricing for all scheduled items covering excavation, concrete work, brickwork, plaster finishes, tile flooring, marble work, aluminum windows, doors, railings, painting, distempering, false ceilings, car parking sheds, and all associated materials and labour.
Contractors must possess valid registration with the relevant provincial regulatory authority, appropriate contractor licenses in the relevant category, and technical expertise in building construction. Bid security must be submitted as per Punjab Public Procurement Rules. Contractors should be familiar with flood rehabilitation standards and quality requirements as specified in the tender documents. All work must be executed in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and directions from the Engineer Incharge.
Bid documents are available from the office of Gujrat Canal Division upon submission of an application with required documentation and payment of the prescribed fee. Sealed bids must be submitted by the closing date of 27 June 2026 in the prescribed format. The bids will be opened on the specified date and time at the office of the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Sargodha.
