Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Committee Ahmadpur East invites sealed bids through EPADS (https://punjab.eproc.gov.pk/) from eligible contractors for the construction of a new bore hole at the MC Office in Ahmadpur East, Punjab. The project has an estimated cost of Rs. 1,056,000/- and is funded through Special Purpose Grant Fund received from the Punjab government. The procurement shall be conducted in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 using the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure. Bids must be accompanied by an earnest money deposit of Rs. 53,000/- in the form of CDR from any scheduled bank in Punjab in favour of the Chief Officer, Municipal Committee Ahmadpur East. The bidding is open to all eligible contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council who have enlisted or renewed their names for the current financial year 2025-26.
Eligible bidders must be registered suppliers on e-PADS as per PPRA rules and must not be under any declaration of blacklisting by the procuring agency. Bidders should not have been previously associated with firms engaged to provide consultancy services for the preparation of design and specifications for this procurement. Government-owned enterprises may participate only if duly authorized by the relevant competent authority. In case of joint ventures, consortiums, or associations, all members shall be jointly and severally liable for contract execution, with a nominated lead member conducting all business on behalf of the group. The lowest bidder whose quoted tender rates are not less than the estimated cost shall be required to deposit additional performance security within 15 days of notice issuance.
Bid documents are available for download from the PPRA website and EPADS without any fee as per PPRA section 25(7) amended on 20-09-2024. Bids must be submitted electronically on EPADS from the publication date until 30-06-2026 by 1:30 PM. All received bids shall be opened on the same date at 1:30 PM in the office of the Municipal Committee Ahmadpur East in the presence of available contractors and authorized representatives.
