Town Municipal Corporation Mominabad, Karachi West invites sealed tenders through the EPADS website for the rehabilitation of sewerage line near Siddiqui Battery to Kakar Hotel in UC-04 TMC Mominabad. The estimated cost of the work is Rs. 1,995,334, falling under Rs. 3.0 million, and the tender cost is Rs. 2,000. This sewerage infrastructure project is located in Karachi West and aims to improve the drainage and sanitation systems in the specified area. The work must be completed within 45 days from the written order of commencement. The tender is being floated under SPPRA Rules 2010 (Amended 2019) and is open to firms with adequate experience in relevant sewerage and rehabilitation works.
Eligible bidders must submit documentary evidence of NTN Certificate, valid Professional Tax, SRB Certificate, bank statement, relevant experience in sewerage projects, and turnover of at least three years. The bid security must be submitted as a pay order in favor of TMC Mominabad. Successful bidders will be required to furnish a performance guarantee equal to 2% of the sanctioned cost at the time of agreement. Retention money of 2% of contractual value will be deducted and released after successful expiry of the maintenance period. Liquidity damages are set at Rs. 1,000 per day for delays, capped at 10% of estimated cost. Income tax of 8% and SRB deductions will apply to bills.
Tender documents are available from 15 June 2026 to 29 June 2026 during office hours at the Office of the Executive Engineer B&R TMC (Mominabad), Sector 11-E Shahrah-e-Orangi, Karachi West, on submission of application on original letterhead with the tender cost pay order. Sealed tenders must be dropped by 12:00 PM on 29 June 2026, and opening will occur at 12:30 PM on the same date at the same venue. Tenders received after the scheduled time will not be accepted. Bid validity is 15 days from submission date. Canvassing is strictly prohibited, and incomplete or conditional tenders will be rejected.
