National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC), the operator responsible for development and control of the power transmission system in the country, invites sealed bids through Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure on National Competitive Bidding (NCB) basis for the maintenance and refurbishment of cooling fans for 160 MVA 220/132 kV Auto Transformer Bank at the Grid Station Dhabej Special Economic Zone in Sindh. The scope of work encompasses the complete maintenance, refurbishment, and restoration of cooling fans equipment with documentary evidence to be submitted by the contractor. This project is located in Sindh province and represents critical infrastructure maintenance for the national power transmission network.
Eligibility requirements stipulate that bidders must be registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue if applicable. All bidders must provide a Bid Security in an amount not less than PKR 80,000 of the Total Bid Price. Registered firms with valid income tax clearance certificates for financial year 2024-2025 and appropriate PEC registration in relevant categories are required. Bidders must also provide evidence of previous experience with transformer and grid-level equipment maintenance works. Bidding documents must be signed and stamped by the bidder on every page.
Bidding documents are available for purchase at the Office of the Executive Engineer, TLC Division, EHV-II, NGC of Pakistan, Bungalow No. B-2 NTPS Colony, T.M Khan Road, Hyderabad for a non-refundable price of PKR 5,000. Bids must be submitted at the same office on or before 10:00 hours Pakistan Standard Time on June 29, 2026, with technical bids to be opened at 11:30 hours on the same day.
