For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
LESCO is procuring approximately 1,984 distribution transformers across three capacity classes (50-, 100-, and 200-KVA units) for bulk supply delivery to grid stations in Lahore. This is a large-scale equipment procurement restricted to pre-qualified registered manufacturers. The tender is open only to suppliers already registered with LESCO or other power distribution entities, narrowing competition significantly. Supply timeline appears standard; no unusual technical requirements are flagged, suggesting commodity-like procurement with established specifications.
Who can bid: Bidders must be pre-qualified and registered with LESCO, DISCOs, NTDCs, or GENCOs. Valid NTN and Sales Tax registration from relevant Pakistani tax authorities is required. Typically, manufacturers should hold relevant engineering certifications and quality standards compliance. No specific PEC category applies as this is equipment supply, not construction.
