Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), through its Resident Engineer at Jinnah Hydel Power Station in Kalabagh, Punjab, invites electronic bids from registered contractors for the procurement of two key items under its Decade of Dams initiative. Tender JHP-S/ITR/CP-170 covers the procurement of centrifugal pumps with motor on a three-month contract completion timeline with bid security of Rs. 550,000. Tender JHP-S/ITR/SPT-112 concerns the procurement of a spare power transformer requiring eighteen months for contract completion with bid security of Rs. 7,500,000. Both tenders are issued on Joint Hydro Power Station (JHPS) basis and represent critical equipment acquisitions for the Kalabagh Power Station operations in Mianwali District.
Eligibility is restricted to firms and contractors registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Department who maintain active status on the Active Tax Payers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Bidders must furnish bid security as specified against each tender in the form of a CDR (Call Deposit Receipt) favoring R.E JHP Station Kalabagh with Collection Account No. 15833710064 (IBAN: PK 10 UNIL 0112 1583 3710 0642). The Government Ruling Certificate (GRC) notification is available under Rule 48 of PPRA Rules, 2004.
Electronic bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, specifications, and requirements are available for registered bidders on the EPADS portal at www.eproc.gov.pk. All bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS on or before the closing date and time of July 21, 2026 at 1030 hours and 1130 hours respectively as per the tender schedule. Manual bids shall not be accepted. Electronic bids will be opened on the same day in the Conference Room of the Office of Resident Engineer, Jinnah Hydel Power Station, WAPDA Kalabagh, Mianwali, in the presence of bidders' designated representatives. Single Stage One Envelope procedure shall be followed. Copies of the CDR should be uploaded with electronic bids along with one original copy of bidding documents submitted to the office on or before the bid closing date and time.
