The Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC) invites sealed bids for a framework contract to hire medical insurance services for its staff for a period of one year, extendable based on performance and mutual agreement. This procurement is being conducted through open competitive bidding in accordance with public procurement rules. The scope of work includes providing comprehensive medical insurance coverage for eligible PMDFC employees and their dependents, encompassing hospitalization, outpatient treatment, diagnostic services, and related healthcare benefits as per the technical specifications and conditions outlined in the bidding documents. The contract is valued and the services will be provided throughout Punjab province with operational base in the provincial capital region.
Eligible bidders must be registered insurance companies licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan with valid operating licenses. Bidders are required to submit bid security equivalent to a percentage of their quoted annual premium, and must possess proven experience in providing group medical insurance to corporate clients. All bids must comply with minimum wage requirements and applicable taxes. Bidders should have a clean record with no adverse regulatory actions, adequate financial capacity, and professional claims handling infrastructure to support the covered employee population.
Bidding documents are available for download and clarifications can be requested in writing before the specified deadline. Sealed bids must be submitted by the closing date of 6 July 2026 at the PMDFC office address as mentioned in the bid data sheet. Bids will be opened publicly on the scheduled date, and technical evaluation will be followed by financial assessment of qualified proposals. Successful bidders must furnish a performance guarantee before contract issuance.
