Description / Scope of Work
Metropolitan Corporation Lahore is conducting an open auction of condemned, unserviceable vehicles, articles, machinery, asphalt plant equipment, tyres, batteries, flexes, banners, streamers, frames made of iron or wood, iron drums containing tarcoal, and scrap materials. The auction is being held in Lahore, Punjab and auction materials will be auctioned on an as-is-where-is basis at MCL designated different sites. Auction materials can be inspected at the Asphalt Plant situated at Outfall Road near Ring Road Interchange at Lakhodair Landfill Site and at Town Hall Headquarter in Lahore during office hours after publication of the advertisement. All prevailing applicable government taxes including General Sales Tax, Punjab Sales Tax, Income Tax and other levied taxes imposed by the Government of Punjab will be charged separately and recovered in addition to the bid amount.
Prospective bidders and contractors must provide copies of their CNICs, office complete current and permanent address along with cell number details to participate. Open auction offers must be submitted along with earnest money equivalent to ten percent against each vehicle, item or lot with respect to reserve prices in the shape of pay order, demand draft or CDR in favour of the Chief Officer, Metropolitan Corporation Lahore as security money before entering the auction. Cross cheques shall not be entertained. Each vehicle, item or lot must be announced separately during the open auction process. The successful bidder or contractor will be required to deposit twenty-five percent of the announced bid amount on the spot and the remaining balance amount must be paid within ten official working days. The successful bidder must remove the vehicle after making full payment within fifteen days, failing which security money shall be forfeited with no extension in time allowed.
The open auction will commence at eleven o'clock in the morning on 30-06-2026 at Rose Garden, Town Hall, Lower Mall Road, Lahore. Open auction documents can be viewed after the publication date of the auction notice in national newspapers and on the PPRA website. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers without assigning reasons as per Regulation 8(4) of PPR 2024. In case of an official holiday on the day of open auction, the next day will be treated as the closing date.
