Description / Scope of Work
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) invites sealed tenders for the construction of fencing and boundary walls for company-acquired land at three locations in District Chitral: Chitral Town, Ayun, and Drosh. This project is intended to secure the sites for installation of LPG Air Mix Plants. The work includes site clearing, grubbing, and all internal and external services necessary for complete functionality. The project is to be completed within five months from the date of site handover, with a mandatory one-year maintenance period. The tender documents must be obtained from the Civil Construction Department, 2nd Floor, SNGPL Head Office, 21 Kashmir Road, Lahore, with submission of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,500 against a pay order in favor of SNGPL.
Tenderers must submit an earnest money deposit of Rs. 57,000 in hard currency along with signed and stamped tender documents before the submission deadline, failing which bids will be declared non-responsive. A performance bond equal to ten percent of the contract amount, issued by any SNGPL-approved insurance company, must be submitted within fifteen days of work order issuance. Contractors must be pre-qualified and capable of managing civil construction projects in challenging mountainous terrain. The contract will be subject to a penalty of 0.2% per day of delay, with a maximum penalty cap of 10% of the total contract value.
Tender documents must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Incharge (Civil), Civil Construction Department, 2nd Floor, SNGPL Head Office, 21 Kashmir Road, Lahore, on or before the closing date and time specified in the Tender Invitation Notice. Payment will be made on the basis of actual site measurements, with the first progress payment being a minimum of 30% of the work order amount. Tender opening will be conducted in the presence of interested tenderers, and only the tenderer's name and total tendered price will be announced.
