Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), through its Resident Engineer at Jinnah Hydel Power Station in Kalabagh, Mianwali District, Punjab, invites electronic bids from eligible contractors for the procurement of two separate items on DDP basis. The first tender (JHPS/ITR/CP-170) covers the supply of centrifugal pumps with motor to be completed within three months with a bid security of Rs. 550,000, while the second tender (JHPS/ITR/SPT-172) concerns the procurement of a spare power transformer with an eighteen-month completion period and bid security of Rs. 7,500,000. Both tenders are scheduled for closing on 21 July 2026, with bid opening on the same day at the office of the Resident Engineer in Kalabagh.
Eligibility is restricted to firms and contractors who are registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Department and are on the Active Tax Payers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue. Prospective bidders must furnish bid security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in favor of the R.E. JHP Station Kalabagh with the specified account number and IBAN. The CDR copy must be uploaded with electronic bids, and the original CDR along with one copy of the bidding document must be physically submitted to the Resident Engineer's office by the closing date and time.
Electronic bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, specifications, and requirements are available exclusively through EPADS (Electronic Procurement and Acquisition Development System) at www.eprocure.gov.pk for registered bidders. All bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS before the specified closing time; manual bids shall not be accepted. A Single Stage One Envelope procedure will be followed. The opening of electronic bids will take place on 21 July 2026 in the Conference Room of the Office of Resident Engineer, Jinnah Hydel Power Station, WAPDA, Kalabagh, in the presence of bidders' designated representatives.
