Description / Scope of Work
The Capital Development Authority (CDA), Mechanical Division-II, invites sealed bids through national competitive bidding on a wage basis in a single stage two envelope procedure for the upgraduation of office on the 1st floor and additional secretarial office at the Jinnah Convention Center Building located in Islamabad. The project is valued at Rs. 32,820,360 and encompasses comprehensive civil and mechanical works to enhance office facilities and infrastructure. The scope of work includes gradation and upgrade works as detailed in the technical specifications and bidding documents provided by the employer. This is a government-funded project chargeable against Main Head – Government Maintenance Grant 2526-3.
Eligible bidders must be duly registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category with valid codes and electrical license where required for the year 2025-26. Only firms and contractors enlisted or connected with PPRA on E-PADS software platform are eligible to participate and purchase bidding documents. Bidders must demonstrate relevant technical skills, financial soundness, and a minimum of three relevant work orders completed in the last two financial years. The earnest money bid security is set at Rs. 984,611 in the form of a CDR payable to the Deputy Director, Mechanical Division-II, CDA. All bids must be prepared in strict accordance with the instructions provided in the bidding documents.
Bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, method of procurement, procedure for submission, bid security requirements, bid validity, opening process, and other clarifications are available from the office of the Deputy Director, Mechanical Division-II, Capital Development Authority, Room No.01, Q Block, Pakistan Secretariat Building Islamabad, during working hours. Completed bids must reach the office of the Director E&M (Maint), CDA on or before 12:00 PM on 06-07-2026. Bid opening will commence at 12:30 PM on the same date in the presence of bidders' authorized representatives who choose to attend. The tender advertisement is also published on CDA, PPRA E-PADS website and leading newspapers.
