Description / Scope of Work
The Public Health Engineering Division Kashmore @ Kandhkot invites sealed tenders under Single Stage One Envelope procedure for the installation of a water filtration plant of 5000 GPD capacity at Noor Mustafa Madarsa, Kandhkot Taluka, Kandhkot, along with repair of drainage systems at old flats opposite the residence in Kandhkot. This is a District ADP 2025-26 project with an estimated cost of 4.904 million rupees and a project completion period of 24 months. The scope encompasses design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of the filtration plant as well as comprehensive drainage rehabilitation work in Kandhkot, Sindh Province.
Eligible bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the year 2026 in the appropriate category corresponding to the estimated cost above Rs.4.000 million, if applicable. Contractors and firms must provide valid registration with PEC, Income Tax Department (NTN copy), and Sindh Revenue Board (Sales Tax Registration). Bid security of 5 percent (0.246 million) must be submitted in the form of a Call Deposit in favour of the Executive Engineer. Blank tender forms will be issued only to Government Contractors having valid PEC registration in the relevant category. Incomplete, overwritten, or conditional tenders will not be entertained. Bidders must demonstrate experience in similar sewerage and drainage works executed in the last five years, with at least one work having minimum cost of 80 percent of the estimated cost, or at least two similar works each having minimum cost of 50 percent of the estimated cost.
Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer (Dev.), Public Health Engineering Division Kashmore @ Kandhkot, located at Government Elementary College Near Old Nadra Office Kandhkot, on any working day from the date of notice until 07.07.2026 upon submission of a written request and payment of the non-refundable tender fee of Rs.5000. Sealed proposals comprising Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal must be submitted in a single envelope with clear marking by 08.07.2026 at 11:00 AM at the office of the Executive Engineer. Technical proposals will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM by the Procurement Committee in the presence of participating contractors or their authorized representatives. Financial bids of technically qualified firms will be opened and announced on a date to be communicated in writing to all qualified contractors.
