Karachi Metropolitan Corporation's Engineering Department invites sealed competitive bids for the installation of solar LED street lights at Rehri Goth, District Malir, Karachi. This procurement is for a project valued at Rs 3.0 Million and is being conducted under tender reference KMC/CM/E&M/129/2025-26. The project aims to improve street lighting infrastructure in the Rehri Goth area through modern, energy-efficient solar LED technology. Bidding documents shall be downloaded from the EPADS portal of SPPRA Sindh at http://portalsindh.eprocurement.gov.pk and all submissions must be made exclusively through the online e-Procurement System.
Eligible firms and contractors must submit bids on a Schedule Plus Offer rates basis through the Single Stage One Envelope method strictly in accordance with SPPRA's e-Procurement requirements. Bidders are required to provide a bid security of 5 percent of the estimated cost and pay a tender cost of Rs 2,000. Mandatory requirements include submission of an affidavit on Rs 200 stamp paper confirming the firm is not blacklisted by any government or autonomous body, along with all supporting documents demonstrating compliance with eligibility and qualification criteria as specified in the Notice Inviting Tender.
Bid submission must be completed online on or before 08-07-2026 by 2:00 PM through the EPADS portal. Physical submission of the pay order for bid security, tender cost, and supporting eligibility documents is also required at the office of the Superintending Engineer (E&M) at 512 J.M New M.A. Jinnah Road, Gurumandar, Karachi, before the bid opening time. Bids will be opened on 08-07-2026 at 2:30 PM. In case of public holiday or non-working day, the opening shall be deferred to the next working day; if tenders are not responded by the scheduled date for any other reason, the next submission and opening dates will be 23-07-2026 at 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM respectively. Only substantially responsive bids that comply with all eligibility and minimum qualification criteria will be evaluated further.
