Secours Islamique France (SIF), a relief and humanitarian non-governmental organization established in 1991 and member of the Islamic Relief Worldwide family, invites expressions of interest for the prequalification of suppliers and contractors for rehabilitation, repair, maintenance, and improvement works in schools located in District Malir and District Kemari, Karachi, Sindh Province. The prequalification exercise aims to develop and update SIF's list of qualified suppliers and contractors capable of delivering rehabilitation and improvement projects. The scope encompasses structural repairs, maintenance work, and facility upgrades across multiple educational institutions in these districts. The minimum cumulative contract value accepted for consideration is PKR 15,000,000 for contracts and purchase orders completed in the last three years.
Interested suppliers and contractors must demonstrate valid registration with Pakistani tax authorities including NTN and STRN certificates, maintain active bank accounts, and provide evidence of previous experience in similar rehabilitation and maintenance projects. Applicants must submit company profiles detailing organizational structure and core business activities, valid registration documents, proof of successful project completion through Goods Received Notes or equivalent documentation, contact details of at least three previous clients with preference for references from NGOs, INGOs, UN agencies, or government institutions, and a list of available technical staff including workers, engineers, and supervisors. A signed declaration confirming compliance with applicable labor laws and commitment to anti-fraud, anti-corruption, safeguarding, child protection, prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse, and environmental protection principles is mandatory. Latest tax return acknowledgement and proof of active taxpayer status must also be submitted.
All required documents must be submitted together with the expression of interest. Incomplete applications or those lacking required supporting documents may not be considered. SIF reserves the right to verify all information provided, request additional documents, conduct site visits, and reject applications not meeting required standards. Only suppliers meeting minimum eligibility requirements will be contacted and requested to complete the Supplier Prequalification Questionnaire within seven calendar days.
