Description / Scope of Work
The University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore, Office of the Project Director (Building & Works Department) invites sealed electronic tenders for two construction projects in Punjab. The first project involves shifting of the main walk through aviary from the main building of front ground to the back side of the pet center at the City Campus in Lahore, with an estimated cost of Rs. 1,292,500 and a completion period of 45 days. The second project comprises providing and fixing of fiber glass roof top water proofing with polyurethane coatings and important fabric membrane at the TCBP Building, A-Block, UVAS Ravi Campus in Pattoki, Kasur district, with an estimated cost of Rs. 2,111,024 and a 45-day completion timeline. Both projects are advertised under tender notification number SOH-1(C&W)149/2023/3652 dated 26 May 2023.
All contractors interested in bidding must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-6 or above. Eligible bidders are required to submit scanned copies of call deposit receipts (CDR) equivalent to 5 percent of the estimated cost of the respective work, along with original CDR deposits at call in favor of the Treasurer. The procurement process strictly adheres to PPRA Rules 2014 with all up-to-date amendments. Participating contractors must also furnish valid PEC registration for 2025-2026 in the specified category and discipline, government receipts for professional tax payment, certified national identity card copies, and registration with the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) for the financial year 2025-26.
Bid documents are available through the electronic procurement portal. Tenders will be received on 8 July 2026 at 11:00 AM, with opening scheduled for 11:30 AM the same day at the office of the Project Director, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore. Original call deposit receipts must be physically submitted to the office of the undersigned before the closing time. Tender opening will occur in the presence of the Tenders Opening Committee and contractors or their authorized representatives. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids under PPRA Rule-35 at any time prior to acceptance of a bid. Contractors submitting false information or counterfeit documents will be disqualified and their cases forwarded to PEC and PPRA for strict legal action.
