Pakistan Ordnance Factories, Government of Pakistan, invites sealed quotations for the supply of therapeutic goods and pharmaceutical consumables required for POF Hospital operations. This tender enquiry, referenced as 0026/HOSP/LP/56/CONSUMABLE dated 18 June 2026, is open to registered and unregistered suppliers, including foreign firms. The procurement is for consumable items to be delivered to POF Hospital at Wah Cantt in Punjab, with quotations to be submitted both electronically via www.ebidding.pof.gov.pk and in hard copy form before the closing deadline of 16 July 2026.
Suppliers must meet specified eligibility requirements including possession of a Professional Tax clearance certificate issued by the Excise and Taxation Department. Bid security (earnest money) is mandatory, calculated as a percentage of quoted value: 2 percent for registered and indexed firms up to Rs. 0.50 million maximum, 3 percent for registered unindexed firms up to Rs. 0.75 million maximum, and 5 percent for unregistered firms up to Rs. 1.00 million maximum. Government organizations and state-owned enterprises must submit Rs. 0.50 million fixed earnest money. Additionally, a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 500 is required. Suppliers must provide tender samples as specified, unless they are established firms with prior satisfactory supply records.
Quotations must be submitted in a single package containing two separate sealed envelopes: Part I for technical offer without price (including technical details, brochures, validity date, and delivery schedule), and Part II for commercial offer with price and payment terms. Delivery should be free at POF Hospital Wah Cantt with octroi duty payable by supplier. Successful bidders must furnish a performance bond of 10 percent of contract value within 7 working days of letter of intent issuance. The technical quotation must remain valid for at least 90 days from tender opening. Tenders will be opened at 10:00 hours on 16 July 2026 at the Bid Centre adjacent to Rabita Hall, POF Wah Cantt, and representatives may witness the opening with proper authority letter.
