Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Railways Divisional Office Karachi invites sealed competitive bids for special repair and renovation works at two major railway stations in Karachi, Punjab. The first project involves special repair to convert an open main hall into a waiting hall to facilitate passengers at Drigh Road Station, with an approximate cost of Rs 54,78,042 and bid security of Rs 1,10,000. The second project encompasses special repair to the Port Qasim Station building at Karachi, valued at approximately Rs 55,03,015 with bid security of Rs 1,11,000. Both projects are required to be completed within three months from the date of contract award. The tender is issued under tender notice number 128-W/14/T.N./Ptl/WA dated 24 June 2026.
Eligibility criteria require that bidding firms must have valid registration with the Federal Board of Revenue appearing on the active taxpayer list, duly registered with Pakistan Engineering Council under Category C-6 or above, and holding specialization category CE-10. Bid security must be submitted in the form of a pay order or call deposit from any scheduled bank, drawn in favour of the Divisional Accounts Officer, Pakistan Railways, Karachi, with the firm or agency name clearly mentioned on the instrument.
Tender documents are available free of cost from the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System at http://eprocure.gov.pk. Bidders must submit their offers through E-PADS only, accompanied by scanned copies of bid security. Hard copies of bidding documents and original bid security must be deposited in the tender box located in the chamber of the Divisional Accounts Officer, Pakistan Railways, Karachi by 11:00 AM on 16 July 2026. Bid opening will occur on the same date at 11:30 AM in the presence of firm representatives who wish to attend.
