Description / Scope of Work
The Health & Population Department, Government of Punjab invites sealed electronic bids for the supply of one 400 KVA transformer on free on rail (FOR) basis for the Trauma Center at THQ Hospital Daska in Punjab. The estimated cost of the procurement is PKR 3.0 million, and this is a single-item tender for Year 2026-27. The transformer is required to be supplied and delivered to the hospital location in Daska, with the contract awarded on an FOR basis. This is a straightforward goods supply procurement managed through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS) electronic bidding platform.
Eligibility is open to registered transformer manufacturers and suppliers, with 14 companies specifically invited including M/s Transfopower Industries, M/s PEL, M/s J.F. Industries, M/s Elmetec, M/s GRIT, M/s Siddique Sons Transformers, M/s Pan Power, M/s Hammad Engineering, M/s A.B. Ampere, M/s M-Tech, M/s World Over Engineering, M/s Synergy Elektrik, M/s Mega Transformers, and M/s Skypower. Interested bidders must submit bid security (earnest money) of PKR 60,000, which represents 2 percent of the estimated cost. The bidding will be conducted under single-stage, one-envelope procedure as per Rule 38(1) of Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.
Bidders must submit electronic bids through E-PADS by 13th July 2026 at 11:00 AM sharp. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 8th July 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Office of the Medical Superintendent where bidders may seek clarifications. Electronic bids received by the deadline will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM. The procurement follows Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 as amended and Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024.
