The Lahore Development Authority invites sealed bids for the repair and maintenance of faulty transformers installed in Block B of the Jubilee Town Housing Scheme in Lahore, Punjab. The project encompasses comprehensive transformer restoration work with an estimated cost of Rs. 5,385,831 plus applicable taxes and levies. The scope includes high-tension and low-tension coil rewinding for both 200 KVA and 100 KVA transformers, replacement of LT/HT bushings, filling of new transformer oil, labour charges for transformer repairs, oil dehydration services, and welding charges. The total contract value after GST (18% on material) and PST (16% on labour) deductions and old material credit is Rs. 4,739,616, and the work must be completed within 15 days from the date of commencement.
Eligible contractors must submit earnest money of Rs. 236,981 as bid security. Bidders are required to provide sealed quotations containing their proposed rates for all listed items in both figures and words. Technical qualifications and experience in transformer repair work are essential. Contractors must hold valid business registration and tax clearance certificates as applicable under Pakistani law.
Bid documents can be obtained from the office of the Chief Engineer-I, LDA, Lahore during official working hours. Sealed bids must be submitted on or before the closing date, clearly marked with the tender title and reference. Bids will be opened on the specified date in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
