Description / Scope of Work
THQ Hospital Kallar Syedan, District Rawalpindi, Punjab invites sealed bids from eligible bidders, manufacturers, authorized sales and service dealers, distributors and firms for the supply of laboratory items including kits and chemicals as well as blood bank items for the financial year 2026-2027. This framework contract procurement has an estimated cost of Rs. 4,000,000 (4.0 million) and covers laboratory and blood bank supplies required for hospital operations in Rawalpindi district. The bidding shall be conducted through open competitive bidding under single stage one envelope procedure as specified in Punjab Procurement Rules PPRA 2014 (amended to date), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the bidding document.
Eligible bidders must submit a 2% irrevocable bid security of Rs. 80,000 in the form of CDR, pay order, demand draft, or banker's cheque from a scheduled bank of Pakistan to the name of Medical Superintendent THQ Hospital Kallar Syedan. The bid security in original form must be submitted to the office of the undersigned before bid opening. Upon contract award, successful bidders must provide a performance guarantee equivalent to 5% of the contract value. Registration letter or certificate of valid national tax number, income tax and general sales tax compliance documentation must be provided as applicable.
Bidding documents are available free of cost from https://eprocure.gov.pk and the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website (www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk) until the closing date. Bids must be submitted electronically through E-PAK ACQUISITION & DISPOSAL SYSTEM (E-PADS) only; manual submission is not allowed. Bids will be opened on 11-07-2026 at 09:30 AM in the office of the Medical Superintendent in the presence of bidders' representatives.
