Description / Scope of Work
The Gilgit Development Authority (GDA) represented by the Project Director, Project Management Unit invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the execution of sanitary sewerage system works in Gilgit City, Gilgit-Baltistan. This National Competitive Bidding project is valued at Rs. 2.9 Million and encompasses the laying of UPVC pipes (280 feet, 8 inch diameter SN-4), HDPE pipes (100 feet, 8 inch diameter PN-12), excavation for pipe laying, cast-in-place pre-cast manholes (10 numbers), rehabilitation of damaged roads, and rehabilitation of damaged existing infrastructure works in Gilgit City.
Bidders must be single entities or joint ventures licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council in the C-6 or above category. All bids must be accompanied by a non-refundable fee of Rs. 8,000 and a bid security of Rs. 50,000 in the form of a call at deposit from a scheduled bank of Pakistan made in favor of the Project Director, Sanitary Sewerage System for Gilgit City. Bidders must prove their eligibility and qualification as mentioned in the Bidding Documents and must not have been black listed by any Government agency or department. The bidding process follows Single Stage-One Envelope (SSOE) procedures under National Competitive Bidding guidelines.
Bidding documents may be obtained from the Office of the Project Director at Ali Sadapar Chowk Naveed Shaheed Road Zulfiqarabad Jutial Gilgit upon submission of a written application and payment of the document fee via bank draft or pay order. Sealed bids must be submitted to the Office of the Project Director, PMU near Ali Sadapara Chowk before 11:00 a.m. on July 20, 2026. Bid opening will commence at 11:30 hours on the same date at the Project Director's Office in the presence of bidders' representatives.
