Description / Scope of Work
The Water and Sanitation Agency, Gujarat invites bids for desilting of open and covered drains in three allied zones (Zone-I, Zone-II, and Zone-III) in Wasa Gujarat, Punjab Province. This comprehensive maintenance project covers desiltation works with disposal of sludge up to one chain length of thirty meters, including both open drains and covered drains across multiple zones. The total approximate cost for all three tender packages is approximately 7.553 million Pakistani rupees, with individual projects valued at 2.511 million (Zone-I), 2.516 million (Zone-II), and 2.526 million (Zone-III) respectively. The scope of work also includes transportation of desilted material up to three miles with complete satisfaction of the engineer in charge.
This is a maintenance and cleaning project for the first bi-annual period of 2026, running from 01 January 2026 to 30 June 2026 in District Gujarat. Contractors must quote rates in Pakistani rupees per cubic foot for open drain desilting, covered drain desilting, and for transportation of desilted material. An earnest money deposit of 0.126 million rupees is required per tender package. General provident fund addition of 16 percent PRA must be added to the total bid amount. All work must be executed under the supervision and to the entire satisfaction of the assigned engineer.
Bid documents can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Director Engineering at the Water and Sanitation Agency, Gujarat. Contractors should submit their sealed bids with the complete cost estimate in words and figures. The tender documents specify that quantities include 37,600 cubic feet of open drain desiltation and approximately 29,375-30,550 cubic feet of covered drain desiltation depending on the zone, along with 33,487.50 cubic feet of material transportation. Interested contractors meeting the eligibility criteria should submit their bids within the prescribed time limit as specified in the tender notice.
