Description / Scope of Work
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board, Peshawar invites expressions of interest from national publishers, individuals, authors and groups of authors for the development of textbooks for grades 9 and 11 based on the Curriculum 2024-25 as notified by the Directorate of Curriculum and Teacher Education, Abbottabad. The textbooks are to be developed in accordance with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbooks and Learning Materials Policy 2017. Interested developers with proven experience and requisite qualifications are encouraged to submit detailed profiles and relevant credentials for evaluation and shortlisting by the Textbook Board in Peshawar.
Applicants must be registered national publishing firms, individuals, authors or groups of authors with valid tax registration and prior experience in textbook development. Applicants should possess adequate experience and demonstrated technical capacity in textbook production and development. Applications must include comprehensive information establishing the applicant's qualifications, experience and technical competence. All submissions must be made to the office of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board during office hours from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM on working days. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject applications and shall evaluate credentials in accordance with applicable rules, policies and regulations.
Complete expressions of interest should be submitted to the office of the Secretary, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board, Peshawar on or before 20 July 2026. Applications received after the deadline shall not be entertained. The Board will evaluate all submissions and conduct subsequent stages of textbook development under the KPTLM Policy 2017.
