Description / Scope of Work
National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) invites bids for the operation and maintenance of lifts in its Karachi building for a contract period of one year. This is a non-consultancy services procurement under reference NICL/Procurement/2026/17, utilizing funds reserved for FY 2026-27. The service scope encompasses comprehensive lift operation and maintenance activities at the NICL building located in Karachi, Sindh province, ensuring safe and continuous elevator functionality throughout the contract period.
Eligible bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and meet all applicable eligibility criteria outlined in the bidding document. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a pay order or bid securing declaration on the prescribed format. The procurement will follow the Single Stage-One Envelope procedure of Open Competitive Bidding using the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2004 and applicable regulations issued by the procurement authority.
E-bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, specifications and requirements are available on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. Bidders must submit their e-bids through EPADS v2.0 on or before Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual bid submissions will not be accepted.
