Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority (NHA), Ministry of Communications, Government of Pakistan, invites e-bids for 75 routine maintenance works across three major highway networks in the Balochistan West-Makran region, including Gwadar. The tender comprises 43 routine maintenance contracts on N-10 (Serial 1-43), 18 contracts on N-85 (Serial 44-61), and 14 contracts on M-8 (Serial 62-75), with engineer's estimates ranging from PKR 1.152 million to PKR 15.678 million per contract. The total project scope covers maintenance of approximately 583 kilometers on N-10, 268 kilometers on N-85, and 135 kilometers on M-8, with completion period of 12 months and defect liability period of 6 months for each contract.
Eligibility is restricted to contractors registered with the Income Tax Department and listed on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue, holding valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-5 and above (CE-01 and C-10 specialization codes). Bidders must submit appropriate bid security and comply with all qualification criteria specified in the tender documents. Only qualified and registered contractors meeting PEC requirements are eligible to participate in this e-bidding process.
Bid documents are available through the National Highway Authority's e-bidding portal. E-bids must be submitted online in accordance with the specified submission procedures and timelines.
