The Project Implementation Unit invites Bill of Quantities for civil and infrastructure works under the Infrastructure Development of Education City Project, specifically the Special Technology Zone Package 1 Road and Infra Works. The procurement covers comprehensive road construction and ancillary infrastructure development in Sindh province, including road work, storm water drainage systems, culvert construction, and horticulture work. The project follows NHA (National Highway Authority) specifications and includes detailed Bill of Quantities for earthwork, embankment formation, granular subbase, aggregate base courses, asphaltic concrete layers, precast concrete curbs, pavement markings, and cement paving block flooring. The scope encompasses clearing and grubbing of 132,475 square meters, removal of various tree sizes, compaction of natural ground, formation of embankment from roadway excavation in both common and rock materials, installation of bituminous prime coat and tack coat systems, wearing course asphaltic concrete, and decorative cement paving blocks with pigmented finishes.
The work is being executed as per NHA specifications to ensure quality standards and durability of infrastructure. Bidders must possess relevant experience in road construction, drainage systems, and civil works as per government standards.
