This auction notice invites sealed bids for the award of contract to collect toll tax at Mailsi Syphon Cum Barrage in Punjab for a period of 346 days commencing from 20 July 2026 to 30 June 2027. The revised reserve price for the year 2026-27 (365 days) has been approved by the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Multan Zone, amounting to Rs 28,658,439. The scope covers toll tax collection rights at the specified location with all associated responsibilities for operation, maintenance and provision of facilities as detailed in the bid documents. Interested persons, firms and contractors are eligible to participate in this procurement opportunity. Earnest money in the shape of CDR at 5 percent of reserve price must be furnished. Bid documents can be obtained during office hours upto 17 July 2026 from the office of the Executive Engineer, Mailsi Syphon Division Thingi, against submission of attested CNIC copy, specimen signature and power of attorney in case of firms. Sealed bids with earnest money must be submitted by 12:00 PM on 18 July 2026 at the office of the Executive Engineer, Mailsi Syphon Division Thingi, and will be opened at 12:30 PM the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. The successful bidder will be required to provide bank guarantee equal to 10 percent of total bid amount and deposit income tax at 10 percent of bid price. Bid amount will be net and payable in twelve monthly installments along with applicable taxes in advance. All expenses for provision, operation and maintenance will be borne by the lessee with no deductions from bid amount. Acceptance of the highest bid rests with the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Multan Zone. Toll tax shall be levied on vehicles as per the government approved schedule.
