Description / Scope of Work
The National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC) invites bids from eligible contractors and firms for the establishment of an Open Framework Agreement for civil works at the North 220kV Grid Station in the Lahore Region of Punjab. This tender, referenced as AM-NORTH-LHR-CIVIL-01-2026-27, is being conducted through a Single Stage Single Envelope procedure under the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) framework. NGC is responsible for the development, operation and maintenance of Pakistan's national power transmission system, and this procurement represents a significant infrastructure investment in the northern grid operations.
Eligible bidders must be licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category for the works. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of PKR 200,000 in the form of a deposit at call or bank guarantee issued by a scheduled bank in favour of the Deputy Manager (Civil), AM-North, NGC, Lahore. The bid security shall remain valid for a period extending at least twenty-eight days beyond the bid submission date. Bidders are required to fill the mandatory checklist before submission and NGC reserves the right to reject any or all bids, amend the bidding process, or cancel the procurement at any stage prior to award without assigning reasons.
Interested bidders may purchase the complete set of bidding documents by submitting a copy of their PEC registration certificate and a non-refundable fee of PKR 5,000 during working hours before the closing date of 22-07-2026. Bids must be submitted through E-PADS only on or before 22-07-2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid security submitted in original form before the bid closing deadline. Bids will be opened at 11:30 AM on the same date.
