Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC), a state-owned enterprise operating under the Ministry of Energy, Petroleum Division, Government of Pakistan, is inviting applications for the hiring of an HR Consultant on a fixed-term contract basis for one year. This position offers an attractive remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience. The role is based in Islamabad, the federal capital, and requires a senior-level professional to support strategic human resources operations and organizational development initiatives within the corporation's administrative framework.
The ideal candidate must possess an MBA or Master's degree in related fields from an HEC-recognized institution and must demonstrate at least 20 years of post-qualification experience in handling strategic HR operations at large-scale industrial units in Pakistan or abroad. Applicants should have a minimum 5-8 years of experience working with organizations employing 500 or more permanent staff. Essential competencies include excellence in recruiting and talent acquisition, organizational transformation and structural design, workforce optimization and HR technology systems, succession planning, and HR governance practices. Candidates with prior cross-functional and supply-chain industrial relations experience are highly preferred. The maximum age limit is 65 years at the time of application submission.
