Agreement
These terms govern your use of PakistanTender.com and the subscriber portal, both operated by Cactus Consulting (SMC Pvt) Ltd, E5, Wahdat Road, Wahdat Colony, Lahore, Pakistan. By using the site or subscribing, you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
What the service is
We collect tender notices published by Pakistani public bodies and other sources, digitise them, categorise them, and alert you to the ones matching the categories and regions you choose. Alerts are delivered by email each morning, and by WhatsApp if you enable it. Subscribers can search the full board and download tender documents where we hold them.
Accuracy — please read this one
We take accuracy seriously. Every notice is digitised from its official source, put through quality gates that reject bad records, and reviewed by a named editor who is accountable for corrections. Our methodology is published at how we verify tenders.
Even so, you must check the original notice before you bid. Procuring agencies change closing dates, issue corrigenda, extend deadlines and withdraw tenders, sometimes at short notice and sometimes without republishing. We are an alerting service, not the issuing authority. The official notice and the procuring agency's own documents always take precedence over anything shown here, and we cannot be responsible for a bid submitted or missed on the basis of our listing alone.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, financial or procurement advice. Our analysis of a tender is our own summary to help you decide whether it is worth your time. Decisions about bidding, pricing and eligibility are yours.
Your account
An account is for one subscribing business. Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend an account being shared beyond the subscribing business, or used in a way that damages the service.
Subscriptions, payment and cancellation
- Subscriptions are priced per category, and can be taken monthly, half-yearly or yearly.
- There is no lock-in contract. You may cancel at any time, and your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
- New accounts are normally set up within 24 hours of payment being confirmed.
- Payment is arranged directly with us and invoiced; we do not take card payments through this website.
- If we change prices, existing subscribers keep their current price until the end of their paid period.
Acceptable use
You may use the tenders we show you to pursue business. You may not:
- scrape, bulk-export, resell or redistribute our compiled database, our categorisation, or our analysis;
- share your login, or provide our alerts onward as a service to others;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the portal or interfere with the site's operation;
- use the site in a way that breaks Pakistani law.
The underlying public procurement notices are public. What is ours is the collection, the checking, the categorisation and the analysis written on top of them.
Intellectual property
The site design, text, our tender analysis and the compiled database are owned by Cactus Consulting (SMC Pvt) Ltd. Names and logos of procuring agencies and newspapers belong to their owners and appear here to identify the source of a notice.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, hosting problems and failures at the sources we collect from can all interrupt it. Where an interruption is prolonged and our fault, contact us and we will extend your subscription accordingly.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost contracts, or indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service — including a tender you did not see, saw late, or saw with an error in it. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end an account for breach of these terms, non-payment, or misuse of the service, and will normally tell you why.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts at Lahore have jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and we will email subscribers about material changes. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
