Who we are
PakistanTender.com is operated by Cactus Consulting (SMC Pvt) Ltd, E5, Wahdat Road, Wahdat Colony, Lahore, Pakistan. We are the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us at info@pakistantender.com or +92 311 1687701, Monday to Saturday, 10am–10pm.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to send you tender alerts and run your account. There is no hidden collection.
- When you enquire or request samples — your name, work email, company name, phone number and the tender categories you are interested in.
- When you subscribe — the above, plus your WhatsApp number if you choose WhatsApp alerts, your selected plan and categories, your alert preferences, and your subscription start and end dates.
- When you use the subscriber portal — a login session, and standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept by our host for security and troubleshooting.
- When you submit an RFQ — the details you choose to include in that request.
We do not ask for CNIC numbers, bank details or payment card numbers on this website, and we do not process card payments here.
Cookies and tracking
This is short, because there is little to say.
- This website sets no cookies of its own, and runs no analytics or advertising trackers — no Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no advertising pixels, no session recording.
- The subscriber portal at portal.pakistantender.com sets one strictly necessary session cookie so you stay logged in. It is HttpOnly, expires after eight hours, and does nothing else. Without it, logging in is not possible.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers to fetch them.
Email and WhatsApp
Alert emails and account emails are sent through Brevo, an email delivery provider acting on our instructions. Brevo records standard delivery information — whether a message was delivered, opened, or a link in it was clicked — so we can tell whether your alerts are actually arriving. If you contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms.
Every alert email carries an unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe we add your address to a suppression list so we do not email it again, even if it is re-entered later.
Tender information is public
The tender notices on this site come from public procurement sources — PPRA and provincial authorities, ePADS, newspapers, donor agencies, universities and public bodies. That content is public procurement information, not your personal data, and publishing it is the service itself. Our own analysis layer on top of it is described in how we verify tenders.
Who else sees your information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. It is shared only with:
- our hosting provider, which stores the site and database;
- Brevo, to deliver email on our behalf;
- anyone we are legally required to disclose it to.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information for as long as your subscription is active. After you cancel, we keep what we need for our accounting and tax obligations, and delete the rest. Enquiries that never become subscriptions are kept while they are still commercially relevant and then removed. Unsubscribe records are kept indefinitely, because that is the only way to honour an unsubscribe permanently.
Your choices
- See what we hold — email us and we will tell you.
- Correct it — subscribers can change their details in the portal, or ask us.
- Delete it — ask us and we will delete your account data, subject to the accounting records we must keep.
- Stop emails — use the unsubscribe link in any alert, or reply and ask.
- Change alert channels — turn email or WhatsApp alerts on or off in the portal.

Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Portal passwords are stored hashed, not in readable form, and portal sessions expire. Tender documents are served to signed-in subscribers. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not keep payment card data, which removes the most sensitive category of risk.
Children
This is a business service. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting subscribers will be sent by email.
