Description / Scope of Work
The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) through its Resident Engineer at Allai Khwar Power Station, Thakot District Battagram in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, invites electronic bids for two major procurement works under the Decade of Dams initiative. The first work (P51176) involves services for remote terminal units (RTU) configuration with SCADA system installation by MIS Andritz Hydro Austria for telecommunication signal transmission to ISMO Islamabad, with a completion period of 40 days from issuance of work order and bid security of Rs. 100,000. The second work (P50714) requires procurement of 01 No. 1000 KVA isolation transformer and 01 No. 250KVA station service transformer for 132/220 KV Allai switchyard and 03 No. 200KVA distribution transformers for Allai weir site and residential camp, with a completion period of 120 days and bid security of Rs. 700,000. Both tenders are open to registered vendors with valid Income Tax and Sales Tax Department registration and inclusion on the Active Tax Payer List of the Federal Board of Revenue.
Bidders must be eligible service providers or authorized dealers registered with relevant tax authorities and included on the FBR's active taxpayer list. Each bidder shall furnish bid security in the form of CDR, demand draft or pay order in favor of A.K. Hydel Power A/C No. 1918100004901 at National Bank of Pakistan. The bid security must reach the office of the Resident Engineer at Allai Khwar Power Station WAPDA by the bid opening date, and may be dispatched via Leopard Courier if necessary. Hard copies of bidding documents must be provided alongside electronic submissions.
Electronic bids must be submitted using EPADS by the bid closing date of 22.07.2026 at 1130 hours, with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 1130 hours and 1230 hours respectively.
