Description / Scope of Work
THQ Hospital Chichawatni, operating under the Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department of the Government of Punjab, invites sealed bids for a framework contract of medical gases procurement for the financial year 2026-2027. The procurement encompasses four key items: Compressed Medical Oxygen in 48 CFT specification (10 cylinders per month), Compressed Medical Oxygen in 240 CFT specification (350 cylinders per month), Large Nitrous Cylinders (5 cylinders per year), and Small Nitrous Cylinders (10 cylinders per year). The total estimated contract value is PKR 12,000,000. This framework contract will be executed through the Punjab e-Procurement System, ensuring transparency and competitive bidding processes across the region.
Eligible bidders must be suppliers, manufacturers, or authorized Sales & Service Dealers holding valid licenses as required for their respective items. Government-owned enterprises may participate only if they are legally and financially autonomous and operate under commercial law. Bidders shall not be under blacklisting declaration by any government department or the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA). A bid security of 2 percent of the estimated amount (totaling PKR 240,000) must be submitted in the form of CDR, Pay Order, or Demand Draft. Bidders are required to possess valid NTN and Sales Tax registration certificates, with taxes deducted as per applicable government rules.
Bidding documents are available for download from the PPRA website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk or may be obtained from the Office of Medical Superintendent, THQ Hospital Chichawatni. Sealed bids must be delivered on or before 11:00 a.m. on 18th July 2026 to the Medical Superintendent's office. Bids will be opened publicly at 11:30 a.m. on the same date in the presence of bidders' representatives.
