Description / Scope of Work
The Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology, located in Rawalpindi, Punjab, invites electronic bids from eligible contractors for the annual repair and maintenance of medical and laboratory equipment for the financial year 2026-27. The scope of work covers repair and maintenance services for both the RIC Rawalpindi main facility on Rawal Road and the National Stroke and Cardiac Centre (NSCC) at Samli Murree. The tender is referenced as RIC/PO/011/26 dated 03-07-2026 and is issued under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended) and Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024.
Bidders must meet specific eligibility requirements including possession of a valid NADRA National ID Card, a valid National Tax Number, General Sale Tax certificate, and Professional Tax certificate. Bidders must demonstrate a minimum of one year experience in supplies to government or autonomous institutions. A technical proposal must be submitted on company letterhead without any price mentions, and bid security equivalent to two percent of the estimated price must be provided in the form of a bank draft, bank guarantee, call deposit receipt, or pay order made payable to Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology. All knockout clauses must be satisfied for bid consideration.
Bidding documents are available for download from the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website at http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk, the Punjab E-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk, and the RIC website at www.ric.gop.pk. Electronic bids must be submitted online on or before 18-07-2026 at 10:00 AM through the Punjab E-Procurement System, with the original bid security submitted physically before the e-bid opening. Bids will be opened on the same day at 10:30 AM. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 11-07-2026 at 11:00 AM at the Purchase Office of RIC Rawalpindi. Bid validity is 180 days from the date of opening.
