Description / Scope of Work
Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO), Material Management Directorate, is inviting bids for the procurement of Three Phase Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) meters equipped with GPRS (2G/4G) communication modules on a national basis. This is a goods procurement under a Single Stage-Two Envelope bidding process. The tender is issued by the Chief Engineer (MM) at IESCO Headquarters in Islamabad Capital Territory and seeks qualified suppliers capable of manufacturing or supplying high-quality AMI metering equipment compatible with modern communication standards for electricity distribution networks.
Bidders must meet specified eligibility criteria including valid business registration, technical qualifications, and manufacturing or distribution experience in similar metering equipment. A bid security declaration is mandatory, and interested suppliers must possess relevant certifications and compliance documentation. Bidders may be required to demonstrate production capacity and past performance on similar contracts. Joint ventures are permitted subject to submission of JV member information and authorization documents. Financial resources and net worth evaluation forms must accompany technical and commercial bids.
