Description / Scope of Work
Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO), Material Management Directorate, invites bids for the procurement of Three Phase AMI Meter with PLC Communication Module on a national basis. This is a goods procurement tender issued under a Single Stage-Two Envelope bidding process. The tender covers the supply of advanced metering infrastructure meters equipped with power line communication modules to support IESCO's automated meter reading and data collection initiatives across the Federal Capital Territory and its service areas. The procurement is managed by the Chief Engineer (Material Management) at IESCO Headquarters in Islamabad.
Bidders must meet specified eligibility criteria including valid business registration, relevant manufacturing or trading experience, and adequate financial resources to execute the contract. A bid security declaration is required from all participating bidders to ensure serious participation. Manufacturers must provide authorization certificates and proof of production capacity, while bidders must submit financial statements and evidence of past experience with similar meter supply contracts. Preference shall be given to bidders with demonstrated experience in supplying metering equipment to utility companies.

Sealed bids must be submitted in two envelopes containing technical and financial proposals respectively. The bid opening will occur after the closing date specified in the notice.
